18-year-old Mykola has been suffering from cerebral palsy since childhood. He is a real fighter who has been overcoming the disease since the first 10 days of his life, being in intensive care between life and death. Back then, the boy could not breathe on his own, his condition was critical. But the thirst for life made a miracle – Mykola started breathing without a ventilator! The boy was fed through a probe, he had severe seizures, and at the age of one month, doctors diagnosed epilepsy and developmental delay. He had seizures all the time – up to 100 seizures a day. At the age of 2, the boy was also diagnosed with cerebral palsy.

Today Mykola is an adult, but he still cannot run, jump, write or speak. His gait is unsteady, his balance is off, his arms are weak, and his fine motor skills are underdeveloped. But despite all the difficulties, he fights every day! Each rehabilitation session gives results: Mykola's spasticity decreases, his physical condition improves, and new sounds appear. The boy is becoming more resilient, diligent and demonstrates success. His mother says that moments like this make her happy.
However, in order to continue this progress, it is necessary to continue rehabilitation! That is why we are starting to raise funds for Mykola and really want him to finally move freely!
