Help Kharkiv Zoo!

On April 15, 2022, the "Help the Kharkiv Zoo!" project was posted on the website of the "UBB" Foundation, the purpose of which was to raise funds for the payment of food for animals in the zoo in the amount of UAH 300,000. 00 kopecks

As of July, a sufficient amount was collected to help the animals, so the amount of 212,260 hryvnias 00 kopecks was transferred to the Fund's account as part of the project.

The zoo administration asked us to purchase 1,619 kg of beef for the animals, which is enough for one and a half months of feeding, and in August 2022, the necessary amount of meat was purchased and transferred to the zoo.

We continued fundraising.

In March, we purchased meat for animals, namely 1558 kg, this amount will be enough for at least one month of animal feeding. We were also able to use funds from other sources and a total of UAH 204,982.20 of assistance was provided. (including the funds received from the BO MBF "UBB" in the amount of UAH 132,765.20).

A total of UAH 345,025.20 was provided as part of the project for the zoo. and 3177 kg of animal meat was transferred.

Currently, there are 1,962 individuals (of 206 species) in the zoo, many of them are carnivores such as bears, tigers, etc.
