One moment - and the young man's life was divided into "before" and "after". Artur is 29 years old, he is from Kyiv, in 2021 he went abroad, he currently lives and works in Thailand.

On that fateful day, Artur was riding a bike, stopped at a traffic light and waited for the green signal. He started moving along with everyone else, but was in the first row, when at that time a car stopped at a red light and hit him at high speed.

Artur was taken to a local clinic in Phuket in serious condition with numerous injuries and fractures and underwent the first operation on his neck. After that, Artur was transported to a clinic in Bangkok, which specializes in bone treatment. One complex operation on his back with the installation of screws was planned. But during the first one, it became clear that two operations would be needed. They were also successfully performed. After that, there were additional operations on Artur's lungs and face. In total, the guy underwent 5 serious surgeries - doctors saved his life and gave him a chance to recover, but the guy has a tough battle ahead for the ability to walk.

Now the longest stage has begun - rehabilitation. Now Artur can't even sit, let alone stand or walk. And it is on high-quality rehabilitation that his future and whether he will be able to walk independently depend.

The cost of treatment as of now is 1,630,200 UAH ($42,900). Part of the funds have already been raised, and the collection is ongoing. We are collecting part of the required amount on dobro.ua.

Artur is very kind and cheerful, the soul of the company. He has been working since he was 16, has studied a lot in his profession, is fond of knightly battles, board games, Japanese films and anime. Before the accident, the man taught his beloved to drive a car, and today, unfortunately, because of this accident, his life may change.
