Sasha's parents have been waiting for him for 15 years. Pregnancy became a miracle that doctors no longer gave hope for. It was indescribable happiness. Which, unfortunately, did not last long. The pregnancy was very difficult and at 32 weeks the baby was born prematurely. Due to hypoxic-ischemic damage to the central nervous system, the child could not breathe on his own and was in intensive care for almost 2 weeks on artificial ventilation.

A month later, the condition of the baby stabilized and he could be discharge from the hospital. However, a new challenge followed – progressive retinopathy of prematurity (eye disease) and the risk of retinal detachment. At the age of almost 2 months, Sasha underwent eye surgery, after which when he came out of anesthesia, he started having convulsions, and he stopped breathing again. And again, a month in intensive care. After more than 3 months, the baby finally got home. But the challenges did not end there...

Time passed; Sasha did not develop in due time. At the age of 3,5 years, the boy does not hold his head well, does not sit, does not walk, does not speak. To put Sasha on his feet, to restore his health, there is a need in constant treatment and rehabilitation. Parents do not lower their hands and move, even if slowly, but only forward. In addition to rehabilitation centers, they exercise with the baby at home every day, Sasha has already become better at holding his head, there were support reactions to the handles, he began to roll over.

"I believe Sasha can do everything, for sure! We have enough strength and energy, but all this is very expensive and we can`t cope alone. The financial possibilities of our family are not limitless. So, I really hope for your help" – Sasha`s mother writes. From the very birth of Sasha, huge amount of funds was spent on treatment. Every 1,5 - 2 months the boy undergoes rehabilitation. All the family's financial reserves have already been exhausted.
