Friends for Friends

Animal shelters should not be places for dogs or cats to die. Especially where they die... of old age. What does a stray animal need? Food? Warmth? Care? Without doubt. But all these are secondary. These unfortunate Barsik and Murzik need a family. They need us!

The biggest problem of any shelter - is a question of finding adoptive parents. Despite the constant media campaigns, the activity of volunteers the animal adoption process is not very fast. Animals are kept in the cells and are waiting for kind–hearted people.

But the Cherkasy Animal Shelter does not give up, and is seaching for a way to help these furry inmates.

Thus the project "Friends for Friends” appeares simple, but it is very effective. If the owner of the animal leads his friends, colleagues, relatives to the shelter, and some of them take an animal there, the first will be able to get the reward. The prize is a 3-kg package of food for a pet.

Local television and newspapers will become active in promoting our program. The first wave of the project "Friends for Friends» is meant for 60 adoptions. But the shelter does not have the funds to purchase prizes. Therefore, all employees and volunteers of the shelter are turning to you to help in carrying out the action! Your donation will be used immediately for creating comfortable homes and finding good hosts for the unhappy animals. It is also likely to save some of their lives.
