Neutering of homeless animals is the only compassionate way to assure a calm peaceful coexistence of people and homeless animals in our cities. Animals that were neutered can live in the yards in care of curators, not causing any trouble. They do not let any other animals to enter this territory and they don't reproduce, so their quantity is under control.

Animals that live in the cities (homeless, left, lost) reproduce uncontrolled. Unfortunately, it is impossible to find responsible owners for all puppies and kittens. Those helpless pups become victims of knackers, doghunters, die because of the illnesss or beneath the wheels. Animals who reproduce two-three times a year become victims of dissatisfied people. In most cases animals are poisoned or killed in some other way.

This violent behaviour of people doesn't solve the problem, it leads to degradation of society and transfer of inhumane model of behaviour to the next generation. Children see the unberable suffering of dying animals and receive psychological trauma, learning how to be selfish and violent and not how to lead a harmonic cooexistence with living beings.

Neutering is widely used in European countries as the only compassionate way of regulation of homeless animals.
Zaporizhzhia animal rights organization "Dai lapu drug" has a long experience of massive campaigns of neutering of homeless animals. We tool part in charitable free neuterings that gave a meaningful result for our city. But this work should be continued constanlty and the situation with finances is catastrophic.
