Judo for children from poor families

It would seem that attending sports clubs and extracurricular activities for children today is a common occurrence. These are active leisure, personal physical and emotional development, new friends. But, unfortunately, not all parents have the opportunity to send their child to such sections: families who find themselves in difficult life circumstances, large and low-income families often cannot do this due to lack of money. After all, the least a child needs to play sports is appropriate clothing and footwear. Is it possible to dream of this when all the funds in the family are spent on top-priority things?..

Our organization CF "Caritas-Khmelnitsky UGCC" aims to change the lives of such children for the better and do so that they could do what they loved and became happier from it. And as soon as we learned that the Khmelnytskyi regional organization "Dynamo" created a judo section for children from poor families, we in the fund understood – this is it! This is what each of our little wards needs. 

Now 35 of our wards attend the judo section, and for them this is not only a hobby, it is already a philosophy of life. This sport helps to develop physical strength, attentiveness and thinking, teaches children not to show aggression, but on the contrary – gives an excellent experience of self-defense, teaches to resolve conflicts peacefully and direct the enemy's strength against himself. Receiving spiritual knowledge, the child becomes more self-confident, is not afraid of conflicts and can always stand up for himself. Judo also helps you find friends with similar interests. 

The only thing our young athletes lack in class is the appropriate clothing, and therefore we are starting to raise funds for the purchase of 35 kimono sets, in which the children will play sports. Support these children, because, apart from us, they have nowhere to wait for help! Trust them and they will be able to show their talents!
