Eco-program "Learn to Sort Wastes with Children"

Every day the average Ukrainian throw out about 1 kg waste. A large part of the waste is not sorted, although it is not difficult for everyone to do so.

Today we strive to teach ourselves together with children to take care of the planet preservation through the implementation of the Eco-program "Learn to Sort Wastes with Children". The participants of this program will be young people, children and families with children who are in our children's center around the clock. Thanks to the Project we plan to involve speakers from METRO Cash & Carry Ukraine for thematic meetings with school-age children and adults, arrange a place for sorting plastic on the territory of our children's center, take out wastes to the recycling point. For better mastering of sorting skills, we will sew eco-bags of three colors (for plastic, paper, glass) for the Project participants.

The implementation of the Eco-program "Learn to Sort Wastes with Children" requires financial support for eco-bags sewing, payment to the project manager and administrative costs.
