Excursions for the elderly

In October 2021, we raised part of the funds, namely UAH 1,540.29 (one thousand five hundred and forty) 29 kopecks, for the implementation of the Excursions for the Elderly project and were able to organise a sightseeing trip for 18 elderly people to the village of Zinkiv.

In 2025, thanks to the funds collected on the website dobro.ua in the amount of 7,499.18 (seven thousand four hundred ninety-nine hryvnias 18 kopecks), we were able to organize an excursion trip for 16 elderly people living in the starostats of Khmelnytskyi TG and Letychivska settlement TG to the regional center. Elderly people living in remote corners of our region do not have the opportunity to participate in such events, visit interesting places, have active recreation.
On March 21, 2025, an excursion program was organized for the wards of the project "Territory of Hope. The third place based on the library in Khmelnytskyi (Western Ukraine), expansion of volunteer networks and support for 40 victims of national socialism". First, at the Central Public Children's Library, the beneficiaries had a meeting with the Podolsk poetess Halyna Korytska, then they had the opportunity to look behind the scenes and see how television really works, visiting the First Podolsk Channel with an excursion. The excursion ended with a visit to the Khmelnytskyi City History Museum. The museum's halls tell about the times of the city's formation, its life and everyday life during the Polish-Lithuanian period. The brightest and most spacious hall of the museum is dedicated to art, as it hosts various art and photo exhibitions. The beneficiaries had the opportunity to get acquainted with the collection of museum objects, exhibits that are presented in the museum of different nature and themes, a collection of local faleristics, an exhibition of retro photography "history from family albums" and a separate section of the exhibition dedicated to current events.
