Grant for woman-entrepreneurs

We congratulate women who have opened their business, succeeded in it and serve as examples for others. However, it is important not only to congratulate them with a kind word, but also give a hand at this difficult time caused by pandemic. That's why this helping grant for women entrepreneurs is a grant of friendship and belief that together we can achieve more!

It's not a secret that the corona crisis has hurt everyone without exception, affecting almost all spheres of public life. In particular, the economy, social sphere. And it hasn’t bypassed Ukrainian women, who mostly are employed in medicine, education, creative industries and involved in small and medium businesses. In 2020 during the crisis the reduction of business income is estimated almost 50%. In addition, 38% of enterprises may not resume work after a pandemic at all.

Ukrainian women often provide for their families financially. And in addition to the main jobs, they also have a second and third jobs, because they run the household and bring up children. It is a huge injustice when Ukrainian woman loses her job or her own businesses!

So, on the wonderful occasion of my birthday, I invite all my friends, like-minded people, acquaintances, colleagues and all people close to me to raise money together for those women, who have their own businesses, but now found themselves in difficult circumstances. Their business suffered from the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, but they do not give up. They just need some help now, some momentum.

I hope that raised money will help women find new strength, confidence and energy to keep their business, to rethink it and maybe give their business a second life during the COVID-19 pandemic. Because this crisis is not only about difficulties and challenges, it is also about new opportunities.

The goal is UAH 100,000.

The grant is implemented on the initiative of Olena Kondratiuk.

*The grant does not cover the company's bank debts, landlords, suppliers or employees. Grant funds can be used exclusively for business development.

Selection criteria:

- The business is owned and operated by a woman;
· The history of active business work - not less than a year;
· The business is on social networks;
· The business has financial and tax reporting for the last year and is able to provide it on request at any time;
· Net income from sales is not more than 700’000.00 EUR per year;
· The number of employees should not exceed 10.

 To apply you need to:

· Describe the type of activity/product;
· Present an idea that will ensure the growth of your business;
· Provide a business plan;
· Provide links to the company's pages on social networks, links in open sources covering the company's activities;
· Provide financial indicators of the company and describe the current situation;
· Write a cover letter.

The application deadline is December 17, 2020.
