I will live for my mother!

All dreams seemed to have come true: Vova successfully passed exams and entered a prestigious educational institution – he managed to achieve it on his own. However, disease knocked him down and put him in another institution, the Institute of Cancer… Vova couldn’t even attend the Srudents' initiation ceremony. If there are funds for the operation, for drugs purchasing, if insidious tumor will "die" due to chemotherapy, if to fight with the disease. So many "if", but thanks to the support of relatives, friends and people who care all these obstacles can be overcome.

The boy fell ill this year in March. His leg started aching. Just like many of us, he didn’t consult any doctors, instead he applied ointment ant lotions. In July the pain exacerbated. When he was examined, doctors found a tumor in his shinbone. After needle core biopsy, he was diagnosed with osteosarcoma. He started receiving treatment in the National Institute of Cancer. Now the boy is undergoing chemotherapy, and a surgery of endoprosthesis replacement of his knee joint lies ahead of him. It is necessary to buy medicines and expendables for the surgery. The total amount is over 10 000 UAH. Vova’s mother is a school teacher of the Ukrainian language. One can buy no more than two antibiotic phials for the teacher’s salary.

Vova’s mother believes that due to the support of the family, friends and compassionate people her son will overcome the disease:

"I love my job because it gives me an opportunity to teach children to love and respect their language, culture and land. This is the way I brought up my son. The hard disease is trying to destroy our dreams and hopes. Please, help my son to become a real programmer and be of use for the new Ukraine"
