I want live at home so much!

UPD: unfortunately, Dima is now no more with us. Ukrainian Philanthropic Marketplace expresses sincere condolences to the family of Dmitry. 

Dima is strongly recommended to take an urgent and costly therapy: one bottle of medication costs 4,500 hryvnyas. He needs at least two bottles a day for another three months which makes it 810,000 hryvnyas…This sum of money is enormous for a single mom!

Dima is the only and such a desired and beloved son. Life has treated this little fellow cruelly, though. A year ago the family of a three-year-old Dima had to flee their home because of the fighting in Eastern Ukraine. Acute lymphoblastic leukemia, a little Dima was diagnosed with, turned out to be a real bombshell for the family who scarcely settled down in their new home.

Cancer is a terrifying ordeal for any family, let alone a single mom who has to raise a little son entirely on her own in a new city as well as to take care of her cancer-sick mom who stayed in Horlovka… The ground fell out from beneath her feet as Dima’s mom found out about her son’s leukemia. This new reality of her sick child filled her with panic and despair.

Iryna managed to get a grip of herself and fight for her son’s life. There came a new harsh reality of injections, IV, pain and sleepless nights…Her son has bravely endured his complicated treatment.

However, this brave little warrior soon had to face another ordeal. When Dima and his mom were ready to celebrate the finish of the treatment there came another devastating blow - a serious mycotic lesion of internal organs. This unexpected complication is literally destroying Dima’s organs.

Mom and son are courageously battling hopelessness and despair…The “Happy Child” charity foundation and mom of Dima Voznitsa are hoping for your kind support!

This project was canceled, the amount collected is 42 502 UAH. The funds were disposed of in accordance with the Rules, Principles, and Procedures of the Ukrainian Philanthropic Marketplace (UBB) International Charitable Fund and the decisions of the Project Donors.
