Infusion volume pumps for Vinitsa clinical children hospital

The oncological department of Vinitsa clinical children hospital is in urgent need of the new equipment for carrying out the chemotherapy. There are 30 beds in department and it is necessary to have 5 special devices (minimum) - infusion volume pumps for infusing drugs intravenously. Help us to collect the necessary funds for purchasing the devices. Please, help the sick children and their mothers with their fight against the terrible illness.

It’s not a secret that a child with cancer stays in hospital with his mother. Probably, each of us at least one time in a life has had occasion to see (on TV or ALIVE) the miserable and tied mother sitting beside the intravenous drip and watching carefully for the delivering the drugs. But there are special devices that provide accurate and even administration of fluids and medications into the child’s body in controlled amounts. These are infusion pumps.

Besides, the using of infusion pumps saves from the developing of incidental reactions and aftereffects of illness which is very important in the oncological treatment.
Unfortunately, not all of our hospitals have such devices.

Charitable fund “Hope and Belief” has been trying to provide hospitals in the different cities of Ukraine with the necessary devices for 8 years. For these years the fund has completely provided with infusomats the hospitals of Chernigov, Kharkov and Poltava cities and also passed about 100 pieces of equipment to the hospitals throughout the country. Today, Vinitsa clinical children hospital has a very big need in infusion pumps.

The oncological department of hospital (30 beds) needs 5 infusion pumps. Let’s do it such way that our children and their parents have an opportunity to use high quality equipment and so have more chances for victory on terrible disease.
