New Breath initiative
The New Breath initiative is a program of social support and psychological support for Ukrainian families affected by the war. Participants of the initiative are the most vulnerable families, in particular those who:
- survived shelling, occupation or were forced to leave their homes as a result of the war,
- lost relatives as a result of the war,
- are relatives of military personnel or prisoners of war,
- suffered from the war in one way or another.
The main goal of the initiative is to reduce the negative effects of the war on Ukrainian families, in particular on their most vulnerable members, by providing social support and psychological support to help them cope with stress and difficulties. We sincerely invite patrons and donors to support our project financially.
The camp will last for 7 days at the Emmaus Center in the Strilky village (Sambir district, Lviv region). Children aged 7 to 15 will attend group classes under the "Emotional First Aid Kit" program during the week, while their parents will have time to relax and gain strength. Families will be able to join various programs organized by the center. In total, the camp is for 15 families, with a maximum number of participants of 40.
Currently, we are raising 257,769 UAH on dobro.ua to organize a camp for 15 wives of military personnel and their 20 children. Please help us with this!
