Nine-year-old Igor is an extraordinary child who has been battling a serious illness since an early age. The boy began his battle with severe type 1 diabetes when he was barely a year old. His first experience with the disease was shocking: Igor was weak, had difficulty walking, and doctors were unable to make a correct diagnosis for a long time, until the boy ended up in intensive care.
In first grade, the boy studied remotely, at home. However, despite all the difficulties, Igor grew up to be an energetic child who now attends the 4th grade of high school, has many friends, and is actively involved in sports. Physical education is his favorite subject, and he never misses a class.
However, living with diabetes has its difficulties. Due to the lack of constant glucose monitoring, his mother has to spend the entire school day at school, monitoring Igor's condition. Every summer, they go together to Mirgorod for rehabilitation, where the boy receives the necessary help and support.
Igor's mother, who is raising two children on her own, does not give up and does everything possible to improve their lives. She believes that with proper support and treatment, Igor will be able to overcome all the difficulties that life presents him with. However, in order to continue treatment and rehabilitation, they desperately need help, in particular with sensors for continuous glucose monitoring.
