Because of the Russian invasion and the full-scale hostilities that have affected every region of Ukraine, there is no doubt that the coming winter will be super difficult. This is especially true in the Kharkiv region, where from the first days the occupiers have been disrupting electricity and water supplies, striking at the gas grid, destroying cell towers and blowing up entire substations.
The residents of Kharkiv have already been hardened by the infernal February of 2022, but the harshest times are yet to come. It is likely that the enemy will strike again at the infrastructure so that our people will be cold, without water, without light and communication. While the armed forces are doing everything possible and impossible to rid the enemy of this possibility, we on the home front must do everything possible to minimize the negative effects on the civilian population.
We are now opening a campaign to collect 300 kits of household goods to help families left homeless through the winter. Each kit is a warm blanket, saucepan, stainless steel pan, kettles, thermoses and other household items that can come in handy when heat, electricity and gas supplies are not available. The cost of 1 set for 1 family – 1 000 UAH.
Friends, winter is very close, so we encourage you to take part in the collection and help us to provide people with the necessary funds. Now the victory depends on each of us!
