For the tenth year, the only desire of the Garvasiuk family is for their son Denys to become independent, to stand on his feet, to walk by himself and to be a healthy and a full-fledged boy. Denys is a very talented child, communicating well with both peers and adults. He perceives everything around him with understanding and love. The boy's desire is different from the desires of healthy kids, and it doesn't change, because he dreams of being able to go to school by himself and study with his friends.

For now, he is attended by his teacher who brings him new tasks from school, and he always waits for her. Denis is slowly, but persistently and courageously struggling with a serious illness, do both mental and physical success, but there is still a lot to be achieved. Without help, he can not cope. His mom is such a help for him, but she cannot always cope, because Denis needs both physical help that his mother gives him and the material help that she is not always able to provide, because she brings up her child alone.

Therefore, she is forced to knock on different doors, to seek help from strangers, but sympathetic and understanding people. She is forced to do it because she is afraid to lose the chance to put the child on his feet, while the chance that the boy can live a full life was given by the Kozyavkin clinic. Denis shows good results after each treatment. As a child, he overcame children's fear of doctors and all the difficulties and is now waiting for the next treatment. Therefore, Denis and his mother turn to care and kind people for help and understanding. Please, help him to overcome the ruthless disease, and get closer to his independent steps.
