Alisa is from the "Twinkletoes" team, her birth weight was only 750 grams! The life that hung in the balance was saved, but there were numerous deviations – a congenital malformation of the left eye and infantile cerebral palsy. But the diagnoses do not prevent Alisa from dreaming about the sea and traveling on a big ship, and to her mom – about the healthy eyes of her daughter, about the first rhyme and the first independent step. Dreams need to be realized! The ship will definitely be! But whether Alisa learns to walk on her own depends only on caring people. The girl needs surgery according to Ulzibat’s method.

Alisa is a cute four-year-old girl. She was born very tiny, but, despite the pessimistic forecasts, she survived! There are many health problems, but there is simply no time to be sad. While the girl is small, much needs to be done for her to be healthy in the future. Much has been done in four years – three eye operations trips across the country to rehabilitation centers. Activities at home do not stop for a minute. Alisa is trying hard, sometimes, not understanding how important this is – she just does not know how it could be any different, because she was used to fighting from birth. Thanks to her perseverance and willpower, the baby has achieved a lot! She sits well, stands, walks with support, and recently started talking. This is a small victory that gives her mom the strength to continue to fight the disease.

At home, Alisa wears orthoses and sleeps in braces – special devices that evenly fix the legs. This is quite uncomfortable: it is cold in winter, hot in summer, and even tender baby skin is rubbed to wounds. But Alisa suffers everything because she dreams that instead of heavy and uncomfortable orthopedic shoes, she will soon be able to put on beautiful dress shoes. "I want legs like a princess!", says the girl. This year, Alisa experienced a sharp jump in growth. As a result, muscles tightened and spasticity increased. With all the desire and effort to lower to the heels it does not work. Because of this, Alisa cannot walk for a long time, and even the most correct orthopedic shoes rub her small legs to corns.

The only way out today is muscle fibrotomy. The Ulzibat’s method is an intervention with low invasiveness, performed sparingly only in the scar zone. This is really a chance to make the child's life easier and give her the opportunity to walk without pain, discomfort and constant falls. Mom raising her daughter on her own turns to all responsive people with a request for help. 19 500 UAH – a huge amount for a small family. Children's dreams must come true!

Let's help Alisa to put up beautiful shoes and go on a world tour on a large liner!
