I want to sing along to the birds!
What a happiness it is to live near the warm Sea of Azov! Without a doubt, where the sea breeze and the warm tender sun, the cheerful, smiling and happy children are born. Almost at every photo, Sasha Ostrovskyi has a sunny, joyful smile and a spark in his eyes and in there is a great desire to share emotions and children's thoughts deep inside. And how many questions arise in children's heads, while they grow up! And what to do when you can not ask, because you simply do not know how to speak physically. It remains only to observe, smile in response or use sign language.
It was not easy for Sasha Ostrovskiy to understand that he was not like everyone else. How is it – not to hear the outside world and accordingly, just do not know how to talk? Oleksandr, nevertheless, was born to be the winner! Despite the diagnosis of cerebral palsy, from the age of three, he began to walk. Of course, a little lamely, not as healthy kids, but he walked himself. This was his first victory. The second one is when, thanks to people who are not indifferent, Sasha got a hearing aid and a boy, finally, he heard the sound of sea waves, the singing of birds, and most importantly, his mother's voice. And now his most cherished dream is to sing with the birds himself and just chat with friends. And there are many of them, the same active whyers. They paint together, make clay modeling and, of course, like all the boys they like to play active games.
Now, when Sasha began to hear the world around him, he has every chance to catch up with the development of his peers. Moreover, in the Center for Development of Speech "Loguar", in Odessa, they are also sure of this. The complex of the correctional program, which Sasha with honors passed in May, includes Tomatis – therapy and neurocorrection, Blomberg – therapy and exercises with a speech therapist-deffectologist. It was here that his mother was taught a new model of learning and communicating with the child, using sign language. This gave the result and in November the boy is expected in the Center to continue his studies.
It only remains to help his mother, who alone raises Sasha. On the second course of rehabilitation, they need 25 900 hryvnias.
We are sure that the day will come when Oleksandr can tell his mother and each of us: "Thank you for my victory!".
