Kyrylo has several illnesses

At the age of 2 years and 8 months, Kyrylo started attending kindergarten, where he quickly adapted and enjoyed playing with the children. But a common cold, which all children get, lasted for more than a week. It was then that the parents noticed the child's atypical behavior: irritability, constant thirst, and frequent visits to the toilet. Only the quick reaction of the parents allowed Kyrylo not to end up in the intensive care unit. At home, the boy was waiting for a birthday cake and lots of balloons, but instead of a fun celebration of his third birthday, Kyrylo ended up in a hospital bed. The level of glucose in his blood and the disappointing diagnosis of diabetes left no room for joy. Only tears from constant insulin injections, to which the five-year-old still cannot get used to.

Kyrylo is growing up as a hyperactive child, he is always on the move, which often leads to hypoglycemia. It is necessary to constantly measure his blood glucose level to prevent a sharp drop. Thanks to sensors that measure the glucose level every minute and transmit the readings to the mother's phone, you can react in time and make the child's life much easier and safer.

Unfortunately, in addition to diabetes, the boy has been suffering from organic brain damage since birth. Kyrylo spent the first three months of his life under intravenous drips in the intensive care unit. Since then, his life has been inextricably linked to hospitals. Constant sessions with a rehabilitation therapist, speech therapist and neuropsychologist are financially draining for the family. And then there is diabetes! The state only partially compensates for Kyrylo's treatment and rehabilitation, so the family is asking for help in purchasing sensors.
