When childhood becomes a struggle

Marharyta is a kind, sincere, and very strong girl. She is a dreamer, full of joy, and loves dancing above all else.
Marharyta's childhood was rich, varied, and happy. But it so happened that her mother fell ill and had a severe case of coronavirus. Marharyta was deeply worried about her mother, and later, amid the stress, ended up in intensive care herself. There, the diagnosis of diabetes was made. From that moment her life changed – daily blood sugar monitoring, injections, fears, and sleepless nights became part of her childhood. The family spent a long time learning to live with this and adjusting to their new reality. Some relief came with a sensor, which helps at least somewhat to monitor Marharyta's condition.
School is not easy for the girl due to unstable blood sugar levels and feeling unwell. She sometimes even has to miss classes. But Marharyta does not give up. She has a big dream – to pursue dancing professionally. She genuinely loves movement and music, and her family supports her as best they can. However, physical activity often brings complications – hypoglycemic episodes occur at night. It is especially difficult now, during adolescence, when blood sugar levels shift sharply and become even harder to control.
The family is reaching out for support for Marharytka. Continuous monitoring sensors have become a true lifesaver for them. But they require ongoing costs that the family finds very difficult to cover on their own.
Let's help Marharyta move toward her dream with confidence and without fear!
