Maria has been living with type 1 diabetes for over a year now. She is a brave and smart girl who loves solving puzzles, doing crafts, and building Lego princesses. Meanwhile, she dreams of becoming a princess herself and getting well.
Diabetes is a complex disease. It requires a lot of time, money, and patience. This burden is especially hard on children, as they face certain restrictions and constant injections.
To prevent future complications, her parents strive to manage her diabetes effectively: they count carbohydrates in her meals, observe a waiting period before eating, and calculate insulin ratios. To reduce finger pricks for blood sugar testing and make this complex, vital task easier, Maria needs modern blood glucose monitors.
The situation is complicated by the fact that there are two children with diabetes in the family: both Maria and her little sister. Therefore, these expenses are unaffordable for the family.
Maria will be very grateful for your help, because with the sensors there will be less pain, and her childhood will be better.
