The boy's path began extremely difficult. Artem was born with a weight of only 900 grams. Due to problems with the assimilation of food, he did not receive the necessary nutrients, and for some time he even lived with a gastrostomy.
When Artem was born, the doctors' predictions were disappointing. But this baby proves every day that willpower and love can create real miracles.
Artem is now five years old today. He walks with support, learns to move with the help of walkers and even begins to climb the stairs on his own. For many, it seems like ordinary things, but for Artem, every such movement — is the result of enormous work, hundreds of hours of activity, pain, effort and small daily victories.
Parents share his successes with joy and pride:
"On the eve of his five-year anniversary, Artem has lost two milk teeth, and new ones are already growing. And most importantly, we finally removed the gastrostomy! Now Artem eats fully and independently. But despite the entire journey, there is still a lot of work ahead. Now he has a period of active growth, so rehabilitation cannot be stopped for a moment".
Artem – is a very smart boy. It counts to 100 and in reverse order from 20 to 0. And although everything is not easy with letters, thanks to his perseverance and the support of his parents, he overcomes these difficulties step by step.
Today, Artem needs our help. Rehabilitation courses should take place almost continuously, because they give him a chance for new skills, new victories and a more independent future. But their cost becomes too heavy a burden for the family.
Please support Artem. Every contribution – is not just help. This is another step towards the day when a little boy can stand on his feet more confidently, move forward and discover a world without limits.
As part of the project on dobro.ua, we are raising part of the necessary funds.
