Kurazh July 2024

Within the framework of the charity project "Kurazh July 2024", at the expense of funds raised,including a result of the charity event "Kurazh July 2024", which took place on 20-21 July 2024, by the Charity Foundation "Behind Blue Eyes" in August 2024 in the villages of Lupareve (16 and 17 August 2024), Vysunsk (22 and 23 August 2024) and Pavlivka (28 and 29 August 2024), held three festivals called "Blishchyk", which was attended by more than 200 children from 12 villages of the region, who gained quality knowledge and experience in new creative areas.

Within the framework of the charity project "Kurazh July 2024", at the expense of funds raised,including a result of the charity event "Kurazh July 2024", which took place on 20-21 July 2024, by the Charity Foundation "Hospitallers" provided 17941.43 litres of fuel for the evacuation vehicles of the Hospitallers Medical Volunteer Battalion from September 2024 to April 2025. Within the project, the Hospitallers crews managed to carry out 7917 evacuations. In particular, in October - 1250, November - 944, December - 1473, January - 1130, February - 1218, March - 996, April - 936. The medical evacuation crews were able to refuel from Kyiv to Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, Dnipro, Poltava and Sumy regions. Most refuelling was done in Dnipropetrovska oblast, with Pavlohrad accounting for the largest number of refuelling stops in Dnipro oblast. These refuelling operations made it possible to evacuate wounded soldiers in the combat zone and provide medical assistance in these areas. The Hospitallers Medical Battalion is a volunteer organisation of paramedics. It was founded by Yana Zinkevich at the beginning of the hostilities in Ukraine in 2014. Their work is about saving lives and providing hope for thousands of soldiers in the war zone. In the challenging conditions of war, providing evacuation crews with fuel is critical to their functioning.

The festival participants acquired new skills in such areas as architecture, art, upcycling, film, sound and design. Each child who took part in the festivals created either a personal mini-project or a group project as a result of the educational programme. For example, after researching their own village, each participant in the architecture programme first developed an online model, and later a real model of an authentic house made of parts printed on a 3-D printer, etc. (More information is in Descriptive report.)
