Medicines are a chance for life for Sasha. 2

Sasha has been fighting for his life since he was born. He was born with a congenital brain defect and a bunch of other diseases. The doctors' prognosis was disappointing – the child would be completely bedridden. But despite his serious illness, Sasha walks and even runs, though with a limp on one leg, which is slightly behind in development.

We have already told you about Sasha on dobro.ua. Thanks to our donors, we managed to raise funds for the boy's medicine. Doctors diagnosed him with an autoimmune bowel disease – Crohn's disease and congenital immunodeficiency. The boy is given monthly drips of drugs that stimulate the immune system. But blood tests show that there is still inflammation in the body. Sasha is already 7 years old and weighs only 15.5 kg.

Due to his psychiatric diagnosis, the boy does not understand what war is, but he knows that he cannot be outside during a siren and must go to a safe place. It is also hard for him in the hospital, because he has to go down to the converted shelter both at night and during the air raid alarms. It tires him both mentally and physically. Moreover, he is a frequent visitor to the hospital.

Sasha's family consists of only 2 people: his mother and son. Sasha's father died last year. Since the boy is seriously ill and has a disability (subgroup A), his mother is unable to work: she sends her son to a kindergarten, but they agreed to take the boy only for 3 hours. With such a schedule and frequent exacerbations of her son, it is unrealistic for the woman to find a job.

Now Sasha is getting worse. Problems with urination began, and nausea increased. Doctors diagnose the boy with toxic nephropathy and problems with the bile ducts, so he needs a lot of expensive medications. Sasha's mother is begging for help.
