Medicines: a weapon against disease

The purpose of the project was to raise funds for the treatment of Yevhen Mykhaylenko, who is being treated in the children's department of the National Institute of Neurosurgery under the supervision of specialists from the Institute of Neurosurgery. Eugene has a brain tumor. In April, surgeons removed the tumor at the Institute of Neurosurgery, and treatment continued at the Cancer Institute. Chemotherapy and radiation therapy did not give the desired result. The medical board prescribed targeted therapy with Bevacizumab. This is a great chance to curb tumor growth and recovery, but unfortunately, this drug is not available in the department. The cost of 1 vial of the drug is almost 39,000 hryvnias, and Yevgeny needs at least four to start the course. The boy's family is not wealthy at all, has many children. Thanks to the collected funds, Evgeny started treatment on time. The medical product was received by the patient according to receipts dated 09/21/2023, 09/25/2023, 09/26/2023, 10/05/2023, 10/06/2023.
