Maksym continues to fight. 2

10-year-old Maksym continues to fight for his health, as he has cerebral palsy, speech impairment, and dysarthria, a speech disorder. Maksym works hard at rehabilitation centers and at home to learn new things and do things that his peers do with ease.

Unfortunately, Maksym still does not sit or walk well, and spasticity restrains his arms and legs. However, the boy can already stand for a short time and has better control over his movements. In the summer of 2023, Maksym underwent surgery to cut the tendons in his legs, and he continues to train to overcome the disease. Of course, he still needs rehabilitation to improve his condition, but his family does not have the funds for new rehabilitation.

“With each course of treatment, Maksym acquires many new skills and knowledge! He diligently performs all the tasks assigned to him, and every time he does better and better! Thank you all for supporting us and believing in our success!”, says the boy's mother, who is raising him alone and hopes for your support.
