Margaryta spent the first months of her life as a happy and active child, surrounded by the love and joy of her parents. The girl was not ill with anything complicated, but soon enough, trouble struck. Margaryta suddenly became less active, lost her appetite, and began to breathe heavily. The symptoms were so terrible that her mother called an ambulance. That's how the little girl ended up in the intensive care unit of the regional hospital. After a day in the intensive care unit, doctors found that Margaryta's blood sugar was too high. Then the fight for the girl's life began. Doctors were unable to lower the sugar level for a long time.
At the age of 10 months, the child was transferred to insulin. Each finger prick to measure sugar or inject insulin was difficult for the girl. Margaryta cried a lot. The child's sugar level often rose high or fell sharply, and the child felt terrible. Her mother had to control her sugar often, which is why Margaryta's fingers were severely bruised. The girl lives with her parents in the village. It is very difficult to find a job there. The father is still forced to stay at home with the child, because it is very difficult for the mother to be alone with a small child with diabetes. Doctors suggest that the parents use continuous monitoring sensors, but financially it is impossible for the parents to afford it. The mother would be very grateful if someone could help her buy these devices so that her daughter's little fingers could get some rest from the punctures.
