Nika was born seven years ago, just as the doctors predicted from the ultrasound. But during the birth, the baby suffered severe asphyxiation. This happened because the girl was wrapped twice in the umbilical cord. It was necessary to perform surgery, but it did not happen.

Immediately after birth, the baby was admitted to the intensive care unit, followed by intensive nursing, massages, and medication. From the moment she was born, the girl faced scheduled hospitalizations, home therapy with specialists and constant rehabilitation... But at the age of two, doctors diagnosed the girl with cerebral palsy.

The mother is raising her daughter alone. She has not given up and knows that her little girl will overcome everything and live a full life. At the age of two, Nika began to take independent steps, and at 2.6 she was already walking without support. At the age of 7, Nika walks, runs and learns to ride a bicycle. Before the outbreak of full-scale war, mom and daughter went to rehabilitation every 3 months. Now her mother has found specialists in Poltava, and Nika is working with them on a regular basis. In addition, the girl needs to take anticonvulsant medication, which is very expensive.

Rehabilitologists and specialists give good prognoses and say that Nika is a real fighter and has every chance to live a full life. She is called "Mom's little victory". Nikusya is a very energetic and cheerful girl who is interested in everything new, loves to listen to music and dance, play with children, loves books, paint, and adores her cat Marquis. Unfortunately, the baby does not speak yet, but new sounds appear, she babbles a lot, says a few words. And for development, you need to keep going and continue to work with the child. It is very difficult for the mother without help, but she cannot stop, so she asks for help with medicines for her daughter.
