The disease struck Veronica's body on the third day after birth and was delayed as much as 2 months. As soon as the doctors did not treat the girl: she was lying under the lamp, and took medication, and lay under droppers… Perhaps this is what caused irreversible changes in the girl's body.

At one point she lost interest in the world around her, she stopped recognizing her family. When Veronica was 5.5 months old, she still had a bad head and did not turn over on her own. The worried mother then turned to specialists and heard terrible diagnoses: secondary microcephaly, spastic tetraparesis against diffuse muscular hypotension, pseudobulbar syndrome, delayed mental and speech development. Since then, their struggle for a healthy childhood began. Courses of massage, drug treatment, exercise therapy, rehabilitation – all this so that Veronica learned to do the simplest and what the rest of the children are given by nature.

Nickа is a strong girl, she really wants to live and confidently goes to her goal. Now she is more than a year old, and she already holds the head, turns over, she has attempted to sit on her own, she smiles and looks more aware. However, the girl has not yet made her first step.
