Mom, don't worry, I'll get better! 2
mmediately after the birth of little Denis, something strange began to happen: the baby was breathing badly and began to wheeze, although he was born absolutely healthy. So Denis ended up in intensive care. The boy was immediately connected to the CPAP device, the doctors threw all their efforts to stabilize the baby's condition, Denis spent five long days under this device. Later he was transferred to the pathology department for three weeks.
Every day, the boy took medications, with each new day he mastered new skills: he learned to eat and gained weight. Fortunately, Denis's condition improved, and he and his mother were discharged home. However, they noted that in the future, the baby needs to visit a neurologist once a month. Later, at one of these visits, the boy was diagnosed with a chromosomal pathology and a congenital malformation of the brain. This diagnosis became the reason for Denis's developmental delay, which the boy is struggling with to this day.
They began to prepare Denis for the necessary rehabilitation, but then he had his first seizure of epilepsy. Rehabilitation had to be postponed and epilepsy was treated first. And as soon as the boy's condition allowed him to go to a rehabilitation center, he immediately underwent his first course of treatment.
After classes with specialists, the boy began to hold on with confidence, concentrate his attention and pronounce new sounds. “God works miracles with the hands of people... I am sincerely grateful to everyone who supports my son. Thanks to your big hearts, my son is one step closer to recovery! There is still much work ahead and more than one rehabilitation course, but we – mothers – believe in our children!”, says the boy's mother.
Now we are starting a new fundraiser for a new rehabilitation course for Denis. He really needs it!
