Mariyka cannot bear the pain without tears

When her mother found out she was pregnant, it was the most joyful news for the family, because Maria was a desired child. Everything went well until her daughter's birthday, during which she suffered asphyxiation and later developed severe limb spasticity. From the first minutes of her birth, the girl could not breathe on her own, so she was urgently sent to the intensive care unit, where they saved her life for three weeks. The doctors did not make any comforting predictions about whether the child would live at all. Various examinations, a lot of tests. The parents were desperate, no one was ready for this.

But gradually life took on its own rhythm. When Maria was 1 year old, she was diagnosed with cerebral palsy, spastic tetraparesis and partial optic disc atrophy. And after a while, a spastic dislocation of the right hip was added to all the diagnoses, which does not allow Mariyka to live peacefully. Constant pain, which twists the little girl's whole body, does not allow her to live quietly and engage in physical rehabilitation. Despite the pain, Mariyka is a gentle and cheerful child.

She is a real fighter for her future. But in order not to stop there, the girl needs surgery, and for this purpose it is necessary to purchase a 20 mm high tricortical wedge-shaped bone allograft and a metal structure – a specialized plate for corrective osteotomy of the proximal femur and cortical screws.

The parents are asking caring people to help Mariyka get back on her feet and get rid of the terrible pain so that she can continue to pursue her dreams. For a family living in the countryside, this is an unaffordable amount of money.
