Matviyko strives to learn to walk. Stage 3

2015 is over. During this year Matthew has gone through a lot and learned so much. Thanks to the indifferent people he was able to go through two courses of rehabilitation in "Apis Melifica" RC in Khmelnitski and two courses of rehabilitation in "Innova" RC in Lviv. Now he can easily turn from his belly to his back, and from the back to the back through both left and right sides, confidently works with his right hand and the most important achievement after the rehabilitation in Lviv – Matthew started to sit in a deep W position by himself!

Please, support our son also in 2016 so that he could continue the rehabilitation in Lviv in 2016, since in this very rehabilitation center we have seen the biggest changes in the physical condition of our son together with the great work and love of the physical therapists. Our funds for the rehabilitation of our son have long been spent, but the belief in our child is strong and insuperable!

From his very birth the life of Matthew has been a constant rehabilitation and exercises with specialists. And that is the fault of inattention of doctors, who, yet during the pregnancy, did not notice the pathology of the boy's heart, because of which he suffered two fetal strokes, which affected the right and the left cerebral hemispheres. Cerebral hemorrhage damaged his vision, bound him with movement and speech and caused convulsions.

On the fifth day of his life Matthew had a surgery on his heart in the center of cardiology and cardiac surgeries in Kiev (critical aortic coarctation). Those doctors stated the scary but correct diagnosis, made operational decisions on urgent surgery and gave meager chances of his life.

Now our son is three years old, he us alive and has proven all the doctors that even a meager chance is worth fighting for! One can count the age of Matthew by the number of his rehabilitations. However all of this all this can be tolerated in order to catch up with the peers in development, going through the regular monthly rehabilitations, which we, parents, cannot afford anymore.

Please, help our little hero, don't stay aside.
