We don't want to lose our son

Sergiy is a 7-year-old boy with exhausted eyes full of pain but in his heart there is a smoldering spark of hope for LIFE. The only thing the boy wants, the only thing the boy asks God is to have his CHILDHOOD! He wants to play, to run, to go to school, to socialize with peers and become a famous football player. But now his only dream's to get out of hospital's walls and to recover because his life just begins. He wants to have childhood without pain and tears. He dreams of life without droppers, injections and chemo. He dreams of a happy future without a blood cancer. Don’t we help him?

Tears, hopelessness and despair tormented the family but Sergiy’s parents braced themselves, found strength and ways to save their only child. A lot of people joined their effort and it seemed the boy was saved, and all the hardships were over. However, in January 2014 a nightmare returned: Sergiy was diagnosed a recurrence. His life was hanging over the abyss again.

The only chance for survival is a bone marrow transplant from a non-relative donor. Such operations are not performed in Ukraine. In a short period of time it's necessary to collect 150 000 USD. Now the child is being treated at the Sheba Medical Center, Israel, but the bill's still not paid. At the Ukrainian Philanthropic Market we are raising a part of the necessary amount. And it's vital for the boy to do it in time!

We ask all kind-hearted people to respond to our call for help and to hear in these ordinary words the prayer of the child and his family.
