Art studios for special children. 2

Someone just dreams, but there are people who set a goal for themselves, persistently go towards it, overcoming obstacles, their own insecurity and fears, indifference of others, investing a piece of their soul, and such people will certainly achieve their goals. This is exactly what our wards – children with disabilities – belong to. There are no obstacles other than financial ones for their development. And therefore, dear benefactors, we appeal to you with a request to support their desire to develop their creative abilities and talents.

СO "CF "Caritas-Khmelnitsky UGCC" supports families with children who find themselves in difficult life circumstances and children with disabilities in the project "Social and pedagogical work with children and youth in Ukraine". Families who find themselves below the poverty line and cannot provide for the basic needs of children, especially food, care least about their creative development.

For such children, and we have more than 60 of them today, we have created a platform for educational, developmental and integration classes – the Art-Prostir Caritas creative center, where they can develop their talents for free. Our task is to support and develop the creative abilities of children from families in crisis, while making them feel full, self-confident, in their abilities.

The studios have been successfully operating for over three years. During this time, children with special needs, who are wards of the foundation, not only felt cared for, but also got the opportunity to improve their health, engage in creativity, communicate with other children, classes in the studios help them become more self-confident, active, get rid of stereotypes, increase the level of self-organization, socialize. But today there is a lack of funding and we are not able to pay for the services of studio managers. Therefore, we appeal to you, people with kind and sincere hearts.

We intend to collect UAH 40,000 – this is exactly how much the Organization needs to pay for the work of 4 specialists for 3 months of classes. These are classes in arts and crafts (artistic creation), a vocal and dance studio and a theater studio, a media culture and sand animation studio, and art therapy classes.

With your help, we believe that everything will be possible. Every child has the right to a happy childhood.
