Anesthesia station for the Institute of Neurosurgery

Romodanov National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine is the main institution in Ukraine specializing in neurosurgery. In just a year, more than 350 children with various neurosurgical pathologies from all over Ukraine are rescued in the department of anesthesiology and intensive care. State funding is not enough to provide modern medical equipment and this leads to the fact that doctors do not have the most important and modern medical equipment, which provides high-quality medical care for operations on young patients. The goal of our project is to acquire a modern anesthesia station and help doctors save the lives of children.

An anesthesia station is extremely necessary for carrying out long-term operations on children with severe neuro-oncological pathology at the modern level. Without it, it is impossible to carry out operations, which sometimes last for 5-6 hours.

Modern anesthesia stations allow anesthesia to patients of different ages (from 0 to 18 years) and weight with the ability to monitor vital signs, which are extremely necessary for neuro-oncological operations in children.

The anesthesia station that we want to purchase could literally be called a personal assistant to an anesthesiologist.
