Tiny Maksym was born at 34 weeks of pregnancy weighing 2.48 kg. The baby was immediately placed on a ventilator, where he stayed for 9 days, and then spent another month in the premature infant unit. Finally, the boy was discharged home, and his family breathed a sigh of relief.

By the time Maksym was one year old, he was developing normally – he started holding his head on time, sat up on time, and walked on his own at one year and a month. At one and two, the boy began to say "mom" and "grandma," and at one and eight, Maksym experienced a "setback" in his development and developed hyper behavior with tantrums. Now the boy is 4.5 years old, and he understands everything only at the household level, is afraid of loud sounds and often withdraws into himself. Maksym's diagnosis is early childhood autism with impaired communication and social interaction. However, he is a very active child who loves music, swimming and musical toys.

His parents are doing their best, but their efforts are not enough – the boy needs qualified help from correctional teachers and classes in specialized centers. Now we are starting to raise funds for Maksym's rehabilitation and ask for your help.
