Myroslava is a long-awaited miracle for her family. After many years of hopes and tears, her mother finally heard the wish: she would become a mother. Two little hearts were beating beneath her heart, but fate left only one. Born prematurely, tiny Myrosia fought for life from the very first seconds. Her sister, unfortunately, did not survive.

When the girl turned one, the family received a terrible diagnosis – cerebral palsy, double diplegia. Hard words that changed their lives forever. Myroslava's body is severely spastic: she cannot sit, walk, or talk on her own... Her tiny body fights every day for every movement, for every new skill.

But despite everything, Myroslava is a real little sunshine. Her smile is like a ray of hope on the darkest day. She trains every day, undergoes rehabilitation, and patiently overcomes pain and fatigue. She is learning: the girl has learned colors, shapes, the Ukrainian and English alphabet, knows many animals and shows it all with gestures, because words are still an unattainable peak for her.

Myroslava loves to draw, help her mother, and dreams of running with the kids, and most of all, of walking on her own two feet, holding her mother's hand. Her dream is so simple and yet so big.

Each rehabilitation session opens up new opportunities for Myroslava: her coordination improves, her back and leg muscles strengthen, and she makes her long-awaited first attempts to sit up on her own. These are small steps, but they are followed by a lot of work, incredible willpower and a desire to live a full life.

In order not to lose what has already been achieved and move forward, it is vital for Myroslava to continue her treatment. For children like her, even a short break in rehabilitation can erase months of hard work.
