Liza is a kind, sincere, and cheerful child. She loves drawing, playing, and discovering something new, and every day fills the whole family's life with her sincere smiles.
On New Year's, the family faced a difficult trial – Liza was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. From that moment her childhood changed: every day she has to check her blood sugar several times through finger pricks, administer insulin injections, and constantly monitor her wellbeing.
Liza is growing up in a large family where love and support help to overcome any difficulties together. Thanks to the care of her loved ones, she remains a strong, brave, and cheerful girl. She is learning to live by new rules without losing her kindness, sincerity, and bright outlook on the world.
Modern continuous glucose monitoring sensors can significantly ease Liza's life. They help avoid frequent finger pricks, provide continuous blood sugar monitoring, and allow timely responses to dangerous changes – giving the child more comfort and her parents more peace of mind. However, for a large family the regular purchase of sensors is far too great a financial burden. Together we can make her childhood more carefree and life with diabetes easier.
