Unsuccessful jump
They say that mothers have unexplained premonitions. Illia’s mom had a very bad dream. She asked her son to wait for her coming from work and not to go anywhere. But he went swimming in the river... At work the woman received a call from the local hospital: "Your son has a spinal fracture and a contusion, his condition is grave."
Illia was immediately transferred to the Institute of Neurosurgery. There he had a surgery aimed at the decompression of the spine and the treatment began. Thanks to the help of caring people, the boy is stabilized. But ahead of him, there are more surgeries. The surgeons cannot do their job because Illia has severe inflammation of the lungs which is the effects of drowning. Now the boy’s parents are looking for money every day to pay medical bills. The family is in despair and asks for help.
Illia went actively in for sports, he could swim very well. That’s why he felt safe on the river. But the unsuccessful jump caused a serious injury. His friends pulled him out on the shore and called the ambulance. In the local hospital, the doctors could not do anything because of the lack of equipment and specialists. Illia was transported to Kyiv for treatment, to the Institute of Neurosurgery. The boy is big and tall and as the drugs are prescribed according to the body weight, the intensive therapy costs have become unreal for the family. The price of a daily dose of only one drug may be more than 4000 UAH without speaking about all the other necessary medication.
Now Illia is treated for severe inflammation of the lungs. His parents have no more money for medicines, that’s why they ask for a helping hand.
