Unbreakable Mother's love

This is a story about the power of the spirit, the desire to live and protect your child. Natalia has been fighting cancer for seven years. She is the mother of a daughter with a severe disability; therefore, the well-being of another person depends on her condition. To survive, Natasha needs expensive treatment with the drug Tyverb, which is not on the public procurement list. Natasha is 46 years old. She is an accountant by education, but after Dasha was born, she never returned to work. Her daughter had a cerebral hemorrhage at birth, which caused cerebral palsy and epilepsy. Dasha is 21 years old, and has been bedridden since birth. Nataliia is helped by her mother, Valentyna, in caring for her daughter.

In December 2016, Natasha accidentally discovered a lump the size of a large pea in her right breast. Then there was an appointment with an oncologist, an examination and a shocking diagnosis: carcinoma of the right breast.

On January 17, 2017, the woman underwent surgery to remove the right breast. Then Nataliia underwent 6 courses of chemotherapy. She also regularly underwent contrast tomography to monitor her health.

In March 2023, the results of another tomography horrified Nataliia and the doctors: within a year, metastases had appeared in the lungs, liver, bones, brachiocephalic veins and lymph nodes located around the heart.

In August 2024, Natasha was diagnosed with a tumor in the left frontal region of the brain. The woman underwent a course of radiation therapy.

Every three months, Nataliia takes zoledronic acid to treat a bone tumor. She underwent 18 courses of chemotherapy with Trastuzumab. This drug inhibits the growth of tumors, but does not affect the brain tumor, since it does not pass through the blood-brain barrier. Tyverb can do this, but the state does not provide it to patients. As soon as this drug is purchased, Nataliia will begin treatment.
