A new life for little Lina

Anhelina used to dance on stage in her native Marhanets, but now it hurts to walk. The girl, her mother, and her sister Varia used to have a house, but now they don't know if it's destroyed or not.

The family left Marhanets in August 2022, when a rocket hit the school where the girls studied. They left their house, belongings, and their usual life to escape. At first, volunteers evacuated them to the shelter of the "Pomogaem" charity, and in 2023, their mother Khrystyna rented an apartment in Dnipro.

All the care for the daughters fell on the shoulders of Khrystyna, the father does not participate in their lives. The family lives on her mother's salary in a cleaning company and IDP payments.

Lina graduated from fifth grade with honors. In her free time, she likes to draw, sing, and do crafts. On Easter, the girl sang in church with other children.

Anhelina started walking on tiptoe when she was 2 years old. For a long time, doctors could not find any abnormalities, except for flat feet. Only this year was it possible to establish a diagnosis.

It turned out that without surgery, Lina would not be able to walk properly. On June 5, the girl underwent a complex surgical intervention on her right leg at the Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedics: the Achilles tendons were cut and the deformed bones were aligned. Linochka's leg was in a cast, followed by a long period of rehabilitation.

In 4 months, another, more complex operation on her left leg awaits. To perform it, it is necessary to purchase a bone implant, without which it is impossible to correct the bone deformation.
