Angelina began walking on her tiptoes when she was 2 years old. For a long time, doctors could not find any abnormalities except flat feet. Only this year was it possible to establish a diagnosis. It turned out that without surgery, Lina would not be able to walk properly. On June 5, at the Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedics, the girl underwent complex surgery on her right leg: her Achilles tendons were cut and her deformed bones were straightened. Lina's leg was in a cast, followed by a long rehabilitation period.
In accordance with cooperation agreement No. 21 between the Ukrainian Charity Exchange and the charity operator Pomagaem Charitable Foundation dated August 31, 2020, and supplementary agreement No. 21. 329 dated August 12, 2025, the project “A New Life for Little Lina” was posted on the website dobro.ua with the aim of attracting charitable donations to pay for the treatment of Yaroshenko Angelina.
On August 21, 2025, thanks to the donors of the Ukrainian Charity Exchange, who closed Angelina's fundraiser, we received UAH 65,943.00 (sixty-five thousand nine hundred forty-three hryvnias, 00 kopecks) to the Fund's current account to pay for the child's treatment and project administration.
In early October this year, an allogeneic bone implant was purchased, which was necessary to replace the bone defect and perform surgery for Angelina in Kyiv. The total cost was UAH 62,803.00 (sixty-two thousand eight hundred and three hryvnias, 00 kopecks), and the project administration costs were also paid.
The surgery was quite difficult for the girl due to the complexity of her case. The operation lasted about three hours, but the doctor was satisfied with the result.
On November 24, 2025, Angelina's cast was finally removed in Dnipro. The girl feels well and has started walking on both legs. In February 2026, a trip to Kyiv is planned for a consultation with a doctor and an assessment of the progress of rehabilitation after the operation.
Home schooling is going well in an online format. Angelina's mother and Angelina thank everyone for their support and care.
Currently, all funds transferred from the Ukrainian Charity Exchange have been spent on the child's needs.
We apologize for the delay in preparing the report, which is due to difficult circumstances beyond the control of the reporting manager and the inability to replace the employee.
We sincerely thank the donors and partners of dobro.ua for their help and support!
