A Christmas Miracle for every child

A New Year’s fairy tale should reach every home. The Pomogaem Charity Foundation is launching a fundraiser to provide gifts for children with disabilities – and for their brothers and sisters!

Seeing others celebrate while your own home remains without joy is painful for anyone. But for a child who already faces daily “barriers,” it may hurt even more.

For children with disabilities, "barriers" are not only about missing ramps or the lack of specialists to ensure inclusion. In our country, sadly, it is also about financial hardship.

The social support system is too weak and unreliable. State assistance for a child with the most severe disability and his mother, who cannot work due to caring for the child, is only 8,044 UAH per month. 190 USD per month – that's the entire income for two people. Meanwhile, the needs of such families are much higher than in households where everyone is healthy. Rehabilitation, treatment, hygiene supplies, assistive equipment, special nutrition – all of this creates a tremendous financial burden.

What can they save on? Naturally, on holidays and leisure.

That is why, for the fifth year in a row, we are doing everything we can to bring holiday magic to the families supported by our foundation. Our current dream is to raise funds for 80 gifts for children with disabilities, as well as 80 sweet gift sets for their brothers and sisters.
