Promised mom to get well!

Misha has become a real puzzle for doctors. The mysteries of his body were solved in hospitals of Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Kyiv, Uzhhorod and Istanbul. The truth is that in half of the clinics they more often shrugged their shoulders and made mistakes. But in the rest, Misha was rescued. The first signs of the disease appeared in the summer of 2020 – for no apparent reason, Misha started vomiting. After a series of examinations, a space-occupying lesion in the brain was found, complicated by hydrocephalus. Two days later, convulsions started.

Misha's illness is a difficult case. And our medicine did not cope with it. One can describe for a long time all the trials that our five-year-old hero and his parents went through. In Kyiv, they were afraid to make a surgery, so they carried out chemotherapy and radiation therapy, which did not give results. The child fell into a pseudocoma. In Uzhhorod, the tumor was successfully removed and in critical but stable condition was sent to Zaporizhzhia hospital. A few months later, a trip to a rehabilitation center was planned, but Misha's condition deteriorated sharply. And while he was falling away to nothing with a temperature of about 40 before our very eyes, Zaporizhzhia doctors could not find the reason. The doctors in Dnipro managed to stabilize the boy's condition.

At the end of last year, Misha was transported to Istanbul. And already on the first MRI, metastases in the spine were found, which no one noticed at home. A new treatment and rehabilitation plan was drawn up. Examinations after six months of treatment showed excellent results: the metastases disappeared, and there was no tumor in the brain.

The second stage of treatment is rehabilitation. Misha is conscious, but does not understand anything and does not move on his own. The way to restore the lost functions of the boy's body began in Greek clinic "Anagenesi". The main advantage of the clinic is its comprehensive approach. In addition to the individual rehabilitation program, Misha is under the supervision of an oncologist and a neurologist and undergoes various examinations. The first successes of treatment in Greece are already there – the boy's tracheostomy was removed and now he is breathing on his own.

For a year, Misha's family lived a whole life. A life full of pain and despair. Today, the feeling of despair has been replaced by the hope for the professionalism of doctors, for a miracle, for our support. Help Misha to continue his treatment, and then he will have a chance to recover!
