Overcoming difficulties on the way to health

Since his birth, this bright boy has been fighting for his health. Due to an intrauterine infection and a difficult delivery, Makar was admitted to the intensive care unit and then to the neurological department. The boy stayed there for 5 days, but the war made its own adjustments and he was discharged home.

Time went by, and it seemed that all the bad things were over, but his mother's heart was worried. At 3 months old, Makar could not hold his head, but he would roll over on his side, and at 4 months old, he had seizures that destroyed all the skills he had acquired. The boy stopped eating on his own, and later he was hospitalized, where his parents received terrible diagnoses: secondary microcephaly, congenital brain defects, epilepsy, and flaccid tetraparesis.

Constant rehabilitation and his parents' work at home helped Makar to start sitting up on his own at the age of 1 year and 2 months, and crawling at the age of 2. Now the boy is 3 years old, but he still cannot walk, talk, understand directed speech and many other "not" things. Makar also has a developmental delay, but he is a very cheerful and diligent boy who wants to overcome all the difficulties that not every adult can actually withstand with a smile on his face.
