Ivan Kletz was born prematurely and was a premature baby. Immediately after birth, the boy was not breathing, so doctors fought for every second. In critical condition, he was taken to intensive care and connected to a ventilator. The diagnoses that doctors later made were difficult even for adults: damage to the central nervous system, congenital pneumonia, and bleeding in the brain. Ivan faced a long and difficult treatment.
Months passed, the boy grew, but so did the difficulties. Developmental delay, epilepsy, and cerebral palsy were added to the previous diagnoses. Despite this, Ivan is an incredibly strong boy. Systematic training and medication are bringing tangible results, but treatment requires significant financial costs. After the last treatment, the boy learned to keep his balance, walk with crutches, pronounce words better, and learned some new letters.
This is a huge step forward, but Ivan still has a lot of work ahead of him. His first independent steps are a dream that can only be realized through continuous rehabilitation. Therefore, we are starting to raise funds for a new course of treatment for the boy. Every hryvnia you donate is support for this little fighter and an opportunity to bring him closer to his goal. Join us and help Ivan move forward.
