On May 31, 2023, the project "Support the animals in the Kharkiv Zoo" was posted on the website, the purpose of which was to collect funds to pay for feeding the animals in the zoo.
In June, the project was completed, and on June 22, 2023, our Foundation paid for 912 kg of meat to feed the animals in the zoo. Since the amount of meat is large, the delivery took place in two stages, the zoo received the second part of fodder on July 7, 2023. This amount of meat is enough for a month of feeding. The institution is home to 66 species of animals that need meat for their diet, that is 340 individuals (tigers, lions, hyenas and other predatory animals).
The actual amount of funds spent was 119,928.00 (one hundred and nineteen thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight) UAH. Unspent funds in the amount of 72.00 (seventy two) UAH. we undertake to return to the account of ICF "UBB" and ask to dispose of them in accordance with the Rules, Principles and Procedures.
We sincerely thank for assistance in the implementation of this project, because currently the zoo is going through difficult times due to the war, constant shelling and the inability to fully function. The institution lives at the expense of charitable assistance.
