When Misha turned one year old, it was as if they had changed him: his smile disappeared, as well as sounds and babble. The boy was seized by endless tantrums and a brutal appetite. Later, Misha stopped responding to his name, his coordination when walking was disturbed – up to sudden falls. The kid plunged deeper and deeper into his world, closed from strangers.

Misha was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. A little later, after additional examinations, the diagnosis was replaced by "an organic lesion of the central nervous system". But the main treatment tactics remain the same: Misha needs to constantly deal with specialists in order to stop the process of “immersing himself”.

Over the past year, Misha underwent five rehabilitation courses, and the first results have appeared. The boy became more attentive and assiduous, and most importantly – able to contact. Lately the kid categorically refused to study and threw tantrums, but now it is impossible to take him out of class! Misha can show himself what he wants to do now: walk on a treadmill, do sand animation or build a tower of blocks. He's also great at grabbing clothespins. Lessons on the development of fine motor skills were not in vain!

Also, thanks to the exercises, coordination of movements was restored. A year ago, Misha could not walk even ten meters, so as not to stumble or fall. And now our hero walks without hesitation, goes up and down the stairs without the support of his parents. And the most important achievement – Misha responds to his name!

All these achievements are the result of work with specialists and homework with mother. But in order not to lose the achieved results and adapt to normal life, Misha needs to constantly undergo rehabilitation. Without regular classes, the boy will face an extreme degree of self-isolation and zero skills in self-care.
