Polinka believes that you can help her!
The Ministry of Health has allocated funds to pay for the treatment of Polina. Polina is two years old and her little life is already in danger. Leukemia does not seem so terrible in comparison with the diagnosis, which put the Polina. Leukemia is treated with chemotherapy and save the girl from the primary red blood cell aplasia is possible only through a bone marrow transplant. Bone marrow transplantation in Turley. If we don't help Polina, this diagnosis will be her sentence. But we'll help, right?
A letter from her mother:
"I never thought that I sometimes have to ask for help from people. It seemed that all the horrors that they talk about in the news never touches me and my friends. At first, everything was fine. Polina was born a healthy, active, cheerful and interesting girl, she quickly developed. However, in the summer, 2016, everything changed. The girl was irritable, she lost her appetite, she gained weight and turned pale. We went for a consultation with a pediatrician. The results shocked: the hemoglobin fell from 114 to 27 g/L. On the same day, we were admitted to hospital and received a transfusion of blood, prescribed medicines, in order to raise the hemoglobin. It seemed that the worst is behind us. But next week, the hemoglobin began to fall. We were prescribed new medicines that were not given any result. Every 2-3 weeks my daughter has been pumping blood.
This lasted a few months. In the end, we have prescribed a course of hormones. But as soon as the doctors slightly reduced the dose of Prednisone, the analyses again began to deteriorate. The doctors gave the girl a sternal puncture and sent her to the hospital. The diagnosis was shocking: Diamond-Blackfan syndrome (primary red blood cell aplasia). The doctor's conclusion: we need a bone marrow transplant. If a person has no related donor (and we haven't), in Ukraine do not do such operations. That's why we need an operation in Europe. National children's center in Belarus can help us.
When you hear this news, immediately in the mind the question arises: why her? For what? Where to find the money? My daughter is still so young and has experienced so much pain that it is difficult to imagine!".
